  2. Communications support for Visual Basic for Windows

  4. PDQComm is based on the MSComm control we wrote for the Visual Basic
  5. Professional Edition, and it adds several important enhancements. These
  6. include background file transfers using ZModem, YModem, XModem, CompuServe
  7. B+, or Kermit protocols, optional display of a status dialog box with a
  8. percent-complete meter, and TTY, ANSI, DEC VT100 and VT52 terminal
  9. emulations. All of these features are extremely easy to use--just add the
  10. PDQComm control to a form, set a few properties, and within 30 seconds
  11. you're dialing and connecting to your favorite on-line service! PDQComm also
  12. includes a 64K scroll-back buffer, session logging, and a complete set of
  13. Visual Basic routines for handling modems (including a database of commands
  14. for 440 modems). Extensive documentation and examples are provided, and C
  15. source code is also available.
